The Red Line indicates the old circuitous route by which
King’s College students, etc. used to reach downtown Windsor via College Lane,
College Road and King Street.

The Green Line indicates the new route
secured by the land trade made
in 1842 between Haliburton and his Alma Mater
in which Haliburton gained the
field containing :Long Pond", indicated by the Blue Line.

The Orange
Line
shows present day Clifton Extension, a continuation of old Clifton Avenue
and a bus route, built up across Haliburton’s Long Pond, which is empty much of
the year.

The Blue Line indicates an approximate outline of "the
field containing the long pond
" gained by Haliburton
by the trade with King’s College in 1842
.
